Warm up:
Today and tomorrow, we will be recapping on function machines.
Can you remember what a function machine does?
Here is an example:
A number is put into the machine. In this machine, the number 60 is the input.
There is a rule to follow. In this machine, the rule is multiply by 10.
The input number goes through the rule and the answer comes out. In this machine, the output is 600.
Work through this PowerPoint having a go at some function machines, which have one rule.
Now put your skills to the test with these tasks.
Check your answers
