Virtual School Games Orienteering District and County Champions

Lings have led the way in all six weeks of the Northamptonshire Virtual School Games coming first place in all sports for both KS1 & KS2. For the seventh week of the Virtual School Games the sport of choice was Orienteering, which is a new sports for us at Lings. Mr Davies and Mrs Davies created three courses around the school grounds and the children had challenging puzzles they had to complete along the way. We knew this week was going to be tough and the other schools would be looking to take 1st place away from us but your effort and determination has meant that for a 7th week in a row Lings are Virtual School Games District and County Champions in the sport of Orienteering.

We would like to say a massive well done to all of the children who participated last week and helped us maintain our outstanding record in the Northamptonshire Sport Virtual School Games. We are still waiting for the results of last weeks competition in the sport of New Age Kurling so keep those fingers crossed. Remember that this weeks challenges were released today and the sport of choice for this week is Dodgeball. Please try to have a go at ho,me to help us maintain our excellent record and score as many points as possible for this final week. Remember you can send your scores and videos to the PE Team (pe@lingsprimary.org.uk) or just post your scores in the comment section below.
