Reception home learning Thursday 28th January

Thank you to everyone who has shown so much enthusiasm and effort in helping us to write our book on William Shakespeare.  Keep the pictures and facts coming in and let’s see if we can fill it up!  In writing today you are going to think of your own sentences to write so practise first with phonics.

Reading

Please continue with the Oxford Reading Tree Books this week

Literacy

Today we are all going to be writers like William Shakespeare and write our own sentences.  I’ve put 6 pictures  below (click on link) – please write the word that goes with the picture and then choose at least one of those words to put into your own sentence.  For example – hand.  I put my hands in my lap when I sit and listen (they would probably sound out and write lisun) or mat – The mat is big and red.
