Writing:
Tomorrow we will be completing our independent writing which will be assessed. You will be writing a diary from Chas’s point of view about everything that has happened to him so far.
Today, I would like you to plan out your diary thinking about which events you will include and how you are going to structure it. Don’t forget to give your self a checklist aswell.
Here is a reminder of some of Chas’s key events:
- woke up in a shelter
- went and found the bomb in the garden, tricked Fatty Hardy
- found the dead German pilot in the plane
- forgot Mum’s basket
- stole the plane’s machine gun
- hid the gun in Cem’s Guy’s leg with the help of Audrey
- had to run to hide in the shelter and abandon the Guy and the machine gun
- got the gun back and hid it in Dad’s waterpipe.
