Writing:

Tomorrow we will be completing our independent writing which will be assessed. You will be writing a diary from Chas’s point of view about everything that has happened to him so far.

Today, I would like you to plan out your diary thinking about which events you will include and how you are going to structure it. Don’t forget to give your self a checklist aswell.

Here is a reminder of some of Chas’s key events:

  • woke up in a shelter
  • went and found the bomb in the garden, tricked Fatty Hardy
  • found the dead German pilot in the plane
  • forgot Mum’s basket
  • stole the plane’s machine gun
  • hid the gun in Cem’s Guy’s leg with the help of Audrey
  • had to run to hide in the shelter and abandon the Guy and the machine gun
  • got the gun back and hid it in Dad’s waterpipe.
