Good morning everyone. How are you today?
I am so impressed with those of you that are regularly blogging each day. Yesterday the following people blogged very well:
Aamirat, Lydia, Dan. Simar, Dhanshri, Jessica – jolly well done!!
I’m going to set you another challenge though. If you look at a previous days blog, you will see that I respond to each blog and often ask you extra questions to think about – just like we do in school!
I am going to be checking who responds to my questions and answers them – it’s just like you doing your purple pen work in school (see, I am trying to keep things as normal as possible!). There will be certificates for those who complete this challenge – well done!
Here are today’s tasks:
On Friday, you wrote the introduction to a non-chronological text about Ancient Greece. Write the next section, focussing on the Olympics.
Play the Solids & Liquids – What am I? game.
Tell me what each item is and state if it’s a solid or liquid.
I am clear, strong and cold. Light passes through me.
I have lots of little air bubbles in me that pop and fizz. I am colourless but very sweet.
I am creamy white and I come from a cow. You can drink me.
I am strong but bendy, if I am made of plastic. Sometimes I am made of wood. You can measure things with me.
I am hard. The sea bashes me every day but it takes years to make me any smaller.
Sometimes I am smooth, sometimes I have lots of little bits in. I am always orange.
I am quite hard and strong. I used to be alive, but humans cut me down and burn me, or build with me.
I can be lots of different colours and have lots of different lovely smells. I clean your hair with lots of bubbles.
I am strong but I can be crushed under your foot. If you cut me I have a very sharp edge.
I am colourless and I don’t smell of anything. Pour me out to make a lake.
