Thursday 23rd- year 5

Buenas dias todos!  Good day everyone!

Today I’d like you to do a bit of reading about the original Olympic games, which were created in Ancient Greece.

Maths– Watch the video clip to remind yourself about metric measurements for length.

Then try these…

Last term we started to find out about Judaism.  Can you find out some facts about synagogues?  What are they?  When do Jewish people go there?  What are they like?  Are there any rules about visiting?

Have you logged on to the year 5/ 6 Strictly dance class?  It’s on this afternoon!

Also, Mr Davies is taking part in the Worlds Biggest Gold Lesson at 2pm on the 5th of May… it’s to raise money for the NHS.

The lesson is free and you can join in on Instagram

but you can also donate at

Creative–  I’ve been taking up a new hobby-  here it is after the first week.  Can you tell what it is going to be? (I’ll add another picture tomorrow as I’ve actually done a bit more since I took this)  Send me some pictures of something creative you’ve been doing, learning or practising recently.

Remember you can send pictures by email to

    Morning Mrs Leeming,

Are you doing a cross stitch? I have been working with John Bowman on Mondays and I have written my own isolation song. I am just waiting for him to send me it back with my backing track.

    1. A combination of boxing and wrestling.
    2. Epic and Outstanding
    3. They are trying to sell the life changing opportunity going to the Olympics gives people.
    4. So people know only men can go and because around that time women weren’t allowed to do anything. They couldn’t even vote.
