Today I’d like you to do a bit of reading about the original Olympic games, which were created in Ancient Greece.

Last term we started to find out about Judaism.  Can you find out some facts about synagogues?  What are they?  When do Jewish people go there?  What are they like?  Are there any rules about visiting?

Creative–  I’ve been taking up a new hobby-  here it is after the first week.  Can you tell what it is going to be?     1 pankriation is when the Greece people did boxing and wrestling together .

    2 running and racing

    3 I think they said that because they only think the men are stronger

    This is my English for today,

    1. pankration means all force, its a combination of boxing and wresting.

    2.The two words are running and racing.

    3. at the end it said no women need to apply so they think only men can do it

    Are you doing a cross stitch? I have been working with John Bowman on Mondays and I have written my own isolation song. I am just waiting for him to send me it back with my backing track.

    4. So people know only men can go and because around that time women weren’t allowed to do anything. They couldn’t even vote.

    RE: Synagogue. Shabbat and Yom Kippur is when they go synagogue they have to cover there hair because it’s a rule in the synagogue.
