Today’s session is about adding prefixes.
A prefix is added to the beginning of a root word. When you add a prefix to a root word, you change the word’s meaning.
Here are some common prefixes and their meanings:
re = again, back
dis = not
un = not, opposite
mis = wrong
pre = before
under = below
Task 1 – Write the correct prefix next to each root word.
