Home Learning
Listening
Mrs Whitestone is here today with a great listening activity. She is going to play a short rhythm on her drum and you need to copy it back by clapping. When you have finished can you do some for your grown up to copy. Maybe you could take it in turns to copy each others.
Maths
Today Mrs Crane is continuing looking at number 1-2-3. There is a lovely game of who has more, remember more is a bigger number.
Physical
Today’s physical activity is moving in different ways to the phrase of the gingerbread man. In the story the gingerbread man says “Run, run as fast as you can you can’t catch me, I’m the gingerbread man”. In the video we use phrases such as “Walk, walk as fast as you can you can’t catch me, I’m the gingerbread man”. Have a go at moving in different ways just like Mrs Webb’s daughter in the video. Can you think of different ways the Gingerbread man could move? Please share your videos on tapestry as we would love to see how well you get on.
Speech and Language
This week, we have been learning all about the gingerbread man. Mrs O’Hagan read the story on Monday so, today I thought you could help me to read the story. There is a phrase that the gingerbread man says tall through the story which is:
“Run, run as fast as you can,
you can’t catch me,
I’m the gingerbread man”
I wonder if you can say this phrase in the story! Lets see what happens…
Story Time
Mrs Webb has a brilliant book to share with you all today. It is called Dear Zoo. Do any of you have this book at home? What animals can you see in the story?
