Home Learning

Listening

For today’s listening game you will need your listening ears. Mrs Webb has got 3 pictures of animals that you will see at the zoo. Then your grown up is going to give you some clues. Can you guess, from the clues, which animal Mrs Webb is thinking of?

Here are your clues:

Animal number 1:

This animal walks on all four legs.

This animal likes to climb trees and play in them.

This animal likes to beat his chest.

Animal number 2:

This animal has 4 legs.

This animal has 2 tusks.

This animal has a long trunk.

This animal is grey.

Animal number 3:

This animal has 4 legs.

This animal has spots over their body.

This animal has a long tall neck.

Maths

We are making more patterns today, this time with shapes. Once you have watched Mrs Crane making patterns your turn will be to play the game on Topmarks maths. Copy and paste the link below to find the game.

Physical

Today Mrs Tucker’s physical challenge is throwing a ball into a bucket and a bowl using an underarm throw. Start of close and then move further back the more confident you get.

Speech and Language

Today’s speech and language activity is slightly different. We would like you to make a mask of either one of the characters from the Three Billy Goats Gruff or maybe a mask of something else you like. You could use a cereal box to create your mask. Then decorate it anyway that you like. After this, we would love it if you sent us a video on tapestry with you holding your mask and talking about it. You could tell us how you made your mask, what you used to create the mask and how you decorated the mask. We look forward to seeing your masks and maybe you could bring them to the register on zoom.

Story Time

Mrs Whitestone is reading a traditional tale today. The story she is reading is the Elves and the Shoemaker. Enjoy!

It has been another busy day. Well done preschool children!
