Year 1 (Home Learning) – Friday 8th January

Happy Friday Year 1,

Well done for making it to the end of our first week of Remote Learning!
You should all be very proud of yourselves for how hard you have worked this week.

Below are just a few examples of the work that the children have produced at home throughout the week.
These collages will also be going up on Miss Simons’ Home Learning display
which will showcase the children’s hard work during their time at home.

Join us @ 10:40am today for our daily Zoom where we be will discussing the work set for the day ahead and also be awarding our first Set the Standard certificates of the Spring term!

Seasonal Art Project

Yesterday, we created a Summer scene using a range of bright and colourful materials! We thought about what the sky, trees and weather were like in the Summer season – and also, what people wear!

Today, we are going to create a Autumn scene using a material of your choice – e.g. paint, crayons, or whatever you have at home! It would be really nice if you could go outside and collect some fallen leaves to help create your Autumn scene.

Think about what the sky, trees and weather are like in this season. What do people wear?

Here are some examples of Autumn scenes below …

We can’t wait to see the work that you have completed today and we hope that you have a wonderful weekend.

Have fun, stay safe and we will see you on Zoom ~ Monday morning @ 10:40am!
