Good morning, everyone!
We hope you’re ready for another day of home learning tasks.
Remember we are giving out virtual certificates on Thursday to those people who stand out!
If you are having a go at the tasks on paper or in books then do let us know what you’ve completed by commenting at the bottom of the page or emails us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Here are today’s tasks:
Today we would like you to think of someone interesting who is or was famous.
You might pick Queen Victoria, David Beckham, Elvis Presley, Winston Churchill…
With an adult to help you, use the internet to search about your celebrity.
Then, using the template underneath, we would like you to write a fact file about whoever you’ve chosen.
Take a look at the template before you start searching so you have an idea of what information you need to be looking for.
Watch this video and then write a paragraph in your own words to explain what pollination is and how it works.
Learn a well know favourite in Spanish with this video.
Finished? Have a go at these activities too…
This week we are going to be posting a riddle a day. The answers will be revealed the next day so you need to check each day to see if you got it right. Involve everybody you can and see who is correct!
Yesterday’s answer: Your future.
Here is today’s riddle:
What has hands but doesn’t clap?
Spot the Difference:
Have a go at this spot the difference, there are 5 differences today. We will post the answers tomorrow, just like we do with the riddle.

We play this game in class all of the time, see how many of your times tables facts you can get right in 1 minute. Remember, in Year 3 you should know your 2, 3, 4, 5, 8 and 10 times tables.
Want to do some reading but have read all of your books at home?
No problem! Listening to a story is just as good as reading one.
This week we are going to be listening to a few chapters from Charlie and The Chocolate Factory each day, if you miss a day you’ll need to catch up!
