Miss Simons, Mrs Brookes and Mrs Roberts
Martina has just finished her poem and it goes like:It’s finally here!
Flowers appear
Birds appear
And the coldness disappears
Springs here!
Well done Martina.
A lovely rhyming poem!
Miss Simons : )
Mia’s Spring Poem – mummy helped a little.
Spring is warm, spring is bright.
We get more Sun, we get more light.
I finally get to play on the grass
And give my daddy a football class.
I love the birds, they are so pretty,
Robin – my favourite, I call him Sweetie.
Daisies and daffodils appear,
It means that Easter is very near.
And so is my birthday – I’m so excited,
Although none of my friends can be invited.
Spring is lovely, a Season of hope,
So I keep washing my hands with soap.
☺️☺️☺️☺️
Samveer’s Spring Poem:
SPRING
Spring here yes spring is here!
It’s such a wonderful time of the year
I love it because the flowers appear
The cold will start to disappear
It’s such a wonderful time of the year
The trees will become green
And the air will become clean
Spring is here yes spring here!
It’s such a wonderful time of the year.
Morning Sam,
What a bright and cheerful poem!
It’s just what Miss Simons needed when she woke up this morning.
I like your rhyming of the /ear/ sound.
Well done – fantastic work,

Mia’s Spring Poem:
(mummy helped a little)
Spring is warm, spring is bright,
We get more sun, we get more light.
I finally get to play on the grass
And give my daddy a football class.
I love the birds, they are so pretty.
Robin – my favourite, I call him Sweetie.
Daisies and daffodils in garden appear
It means that Easter is very near.
And so is my birthday – I’m very excited.
Although none of my friends can be invited,
Spring is lovely, it’s a season of hope,
So I keep washing my hands with soap,
☺️☺️☺️
Well Mia, you managed to make Miss Simons cry (with happy tears)!
Thank you very much for your beautiful Spring poem.
I am so sorry that your friends can’t be invited to your birthday this year,
but I’m sure that you will have a brilliant birthday with your family –
and maybe your friends can celebrate with you once all of the germs have gone.
Thank you Mummy and Mia … I am looking forward to the next Poem!
