Happy Friday! Here’s your Friday set of activities …

  1. Phonics

    Get your adult to challenge you to write some words with the ‘aw’ sound in …

    What is an hour? How many minutes in an hour? How do we record o’clock times.
    Press the ‘random dice button’ … what’s the time?
  4. Reading/Writing (Science)
    Watch the weather forecast for Northampton on https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2641430
    What time is the sunrise and the sunset?
    What is the weather like today? Look/go outside. What can you see, hear and feel? What do you need to wear?
    Write a weather report.
  5. Computing
    Hide the teddy!
    Place a teddy somewhere in the room. Direct your partner to the teddy using clear and simple instructions, e.g. “Take 2 steps forward” … “turn left” … “take 4 steps backwards”.
    Swap and repeat activity!
    Challenge: Can you record your steps on a piece of paper?

    Listen to your favourite songs and see whether you can keep the beat to your music! (Have a boogie as well of course!)
