Independent Reading:

Spend 30 minutes reading a book of your choice.

What did you read?

Why did you choose that book?

Can you tell me about the book in 5 sentences?

Art:

Today, we are going to continue our work on our self-portraits inspired by the work of Frida Kahlo. Spend this lesson planning out your self-portrait.

Think about:

  • What will it include?
  • What story will it tell?
  • What colours will you use? Why?

Have a good day.

all I could see was the deep, dark ocean rising in and falling out.
The sand was soft and fine you could feel it seeping through the gaps in your fingers.
The rocks we hard as hard as the deep ocean floor.
the trees shaded the fresh, smooth, sandy beach and they
were all as tall as the sky.
