Tuesday 2.3.21
Good morning! Yesterday was a bit chilly and we hope today is warmer perhaps with some lovely sunshine. Only 4 more days of online learning! Hooray! Tuesday 2
English/ Reading:
Vocabulary:
Secluded – hidden
gaze – look at something with interest
haven – a place of safety.
Use the words and phrases that have been highlighted to draw a picture to show what they mean. Can you use the pictures to help summarise the diary, retell what is happening? We have done this in class before.
Writing:
Use this plan or the headings to help plan Tranio’s diary, you have the feelings, thoughts and wishes from yesterday to help you and here is the picture to remind you.
Remember an adverbial can be used for when or where, for example: In the distance, Suddenly, try and see if you can think of a few examples to help you. Time conjunctions are use to show time but join sentences. For example:
I watched the boat come in when it arrived in the harbour.
I will go for lunch as soon as I have finished here.
Here are some examples to help you.
