Home Learning
Listening
Have you got your listening ears on? Today, you will need your grown up to play some music from their phone. In the video, Mrs Webb has used jazz music but you could use any music which will continuously play. Children. you will need to hide and close your eyes. Your grown up will go and hide their phone. When they are ready you will need to use your ears to listen for the music to find out where the phone has been hidden! Start by hiding it somewhere easy and gradually get harder each time. Good luck and remember to switch your listening ears on!
Maths
This week we have been comparing big and small, large and little, also more and fewer. Today we are looking at taller and shorter.
Physical
Today’s physical activity involves a little bit of maths too! Mrs Allen has got 4 different shapes which are a circle, triangle, square and rectangle. Can you go around your home looking for objects that match these 4 shapes? Have a look at the video to see all the wonderful things that Mrs Allen found around her house.
Speech and Language
Below is a link which, when you open, shows a picture of a dolls house. Today’s challenge is to look at the picture and tell your grown up what you can see. We would really like you to say a full sentence beginning with the phrase I can see. You could say “I can see a cat” you could make a bigger sentence by saying “I can see a cat on the bed”. Some of you might point to the picture and name an object you can see which is great.
