It was a different kind of retelling. It is probably difficult to get actors on stage at the moment.

What did you make of the plot?

One of my favourite parts is when Hermia’s father always threatins Hermia to marry somebody she dies not want to marry I like this part because there is a lot of disagreement between them.

My favourite part is when the characters do the little play for the wedding i like that because it is very joyful and happiness between them.

My second favourite part is when Lysanader ran away with Hermia I like it because it is very romantic.

My favourite character is Bottom because he is funny with his facial expression. The forest plot is good because that’s where the fairies live and Titania. It is also good because it’s a good hiding spot for Hermia and Lysander.

My Favourite Character is puck because he is mischievous and in the story he confuses the characters to think different things.

I really like the part in the forest when puck used the juice that was meant for Demetrius on Lysander and made him fall in love with the wrong person.

The plot of the storey kept me excited and kept me thinking are the right people who love each other going to be together at the end , The forest brought the story to life giving the characters another perspective

Sounds like you enjoyed this Finlay. You have captured the drama of the play near the end.

You have worked hard this week. Well done.

My favourite character is Hermia, because she follows her heart and picks who she loves. She loves Lysander and escapes with him to the forest.
The story happens in Athens long long ago. The thing I didn’t like though, was that a daughter had to marry whoever her father wanted her to marry.
I liked how the actors told the story in a very humorous way. The sentences they used like ‘You’re with me so far’ and ‘Let the trouble begin’ made me laugh. They also used a lot of interesting adjectives like: merciful, precious, exhausted, overjoyed, bewildered, disgraceful. They also called Bottom the star of the show, which was quite funny.
Overall, I really enjoyed watching this video and found it amusing.

      Hello Alex

This is a terrific review. It’s really well written and it shows how carefully you watched the performance.

I really like how you have commented on the role of the storytellers and how they bring humour into the story. You have also done well to pick up on the adjectives used in their retelling.

What do you think Hermia will do about the situation she’s in?

My favourite character is Oberon as he is mischievous as likes things when they go wrong.
My favourite bit was when puck got the start of the plot wrong.
The plot was very well thought of in my opinion.
