Hi Year 2!
Today is Friday. It’s the last day of the week and the last day of the school year.
This year has been strange to say the least. Even though our time together has been cut short, both Miss Battams and I have never been prouder of a group of children.
You have shown us your maturity, sense of humour and lasting effort not just these last few months, but all year. It has been a pleasure to teach you all.
Enjoy your summer holidays! That includes the amazing and supportive grown ups at home. Thank you! We couldn’t have done it without you!
Have a rest, there will be no blog posts over the holidays, and get yourselves ready for the new school year and for Year 3. You are going to love it!
For the last time, here are today’s activities…
Listen to the following song.
Draw a picture of yourself and write words around it to describe you such as brave, sporty, imaginative, helpful, kind.

End of Year Disco
Your final lesson of Year 2 is to have a disco dance party.
