Good morning Year 5 – I hope you are all well.

Grammar

We looked at prepositions earlier in the year so today, we will do a little bit of revision. Watch the following clip and then complete the activity and quiz.

I’d like you to write me a story based on the picture above. Some things to think about:

  • Who is the character? Include details about it.
  • Where did it come from?
  • What is it reading and why?
  • Where is it?
  • What has already happened?
  • What happens next?
  • How is the character feeling? Why? Has its feelings changed throughout your story?

    Once in Japan there was a man who created a robot , who was like a human . 2 months later the old man decide to call him Franklin and decide to make his own room . His Birthday will be April the 15 . Later in the year Franklin the robot started to read some books. His favourite book is the adventure of onyx . Franklin loves to reed books . This year Franklin reed 400 books. Every day ,month, year Franklin
    always gets happier . Christmas is Franklin and old man favourite day. On Christmas the old man family come and celebrate all together.12 years later Franklin life sadly changes. The old man get an horrible virus , and died. Franklin sadly lives alone in his house with plenty of books and memorise .
