Here are your activities to have a go at today:

1. Sounds-Write Phonics

 

2. Reading/Writing

Today you are going to write some descriptive sentences about the superhero that you designed yesterday. Make sure that you are writing in full sentences; using capital letters, spaces between words and full stops. Try to use some exciting adjectives in your descriptions too!

 

3. Maths

Here is the menu from the Fairyland Café that we visited yesterday:

What do you notice about all of the prices?

They are all multiples of ten. Practise counting in tens to the value of each item.

Now select two items from the menu and think about how many tens you will need to add these two amounts together. Children record the tens needed for each item and then count in tens to find the total amount of both items added together.

E.g. (20p) 10p 10p + (30p) 10p 10p 10p = 50p
