Continuing on from yesterday’s key skills and knowledge lesson, today we will be going over prime numbers, factors and multiples.

First: prime numbers.

Can you remember the definition of a prime number?

A prime number is a number that can only be divided by itself and the number 1 for example 5 is a prime number because if you try to divide it by any other number, you will end up with a remainder.

Can you think of any other prime numbers?

Complete the work on the sheet below. If you can’t print it out, draw your own number squares.

Finally, use the knowledge from the last 2 days to complete this challenge. It might help you to draw out the grid.

Your job is to put the numbers at the side into the correct square in the grid i.e. 9 could go in the square that reads multiple of 3 and number less that 13.

    Dear Diary,

On Monday 17th June 1997 I went into battle and I was scared a terrifying I had all sorts of thing on me just like armour, weapons, helmets, medical things and even bombs!! I saw enemies stacking and stacking over and over It was to much.. But I took cover switched weapons and got the “LMG” and as soon as I got the weapon out. They were coming closer until I kept firing my gun and I killed them all, just as I killed them all I threw a grenade and it blew up and there were no enemies at all they were all gone but…
I don’t know what happened to them did they run away or did I kill them all?

I think that you shouldn’t do it because if it is asking for personal information then they will know who you are where you live what you look like and more.
