# Year 3 – Friday 19th June 2020

Good morning, everyone!

Another week of home learning is complete and we are so very proud of everyone for joining in!

Every Friday, we will be giving virtual certificates to those people who have really impressed us this week. So keep those responses coming in and if you don’t get one this week, you might next week.

This weeks winners are (drum roll please…)

Well done to those people and everyone else who is responding on the blogs or via email.

Thank you again for joining in with and completing the daily tasks on the blog.

If you are having a go at the tasks on paper or in books then do let us know what you’ve completed by commenting at the bottom of the page or email us some pictures of your work on yearthree@lingsprimary.org.uk

It could be your name on a certificate next Friday.

Have a lovely weekend!

# Finished? Have a go at these activities…

Today’s problem:

## Anagrams

Anagrams are when the letters of a word are all jumbled up and it’s your job to work out what it is meant to say. So for example: ‘umpj’ would be ‘jump’.

Today there is a school theme. Can you work out what these anagrams are?

For an extra bonus point – the highlighted letters spell out a characters name from one of these books. Answers will be revealed later today.

Today’s problems:

## Hit the button

We play this game in class all of the time, see how many of your times tables facts you can get right in 1 minute. Remember, in Year 3 you should know your 2, 3, 4, 5, 8 and 10 times tables. Let us know your high scores in the comments!

## Story time

This week, we will be carrying on with some of Charlotte’s web but some days we may have something a little bit different for you. Today

we’re going to carry on with Charlotte’s Web. We will continue with Chapter 18 next week.
