- Reading/Writing
Write a character description of the Shoemaker. Here are some additional pictures to help you with your descriptive writing about the Shoemaker;
Some things to think about:
- What does he look like? What does he wear? Can you describe his features?
- Is he lazy or does he work very hard?
- What is his job?
- Is he rich or poor? Is he happy?
Remember to use capital letters, spaces between words and full stops. Don’t forget to write in your neatest writing.
Challenge: Can you use ‘and’ and ‘because’ in your writing?
- Maths
Find a range of different sized boxes. Explore these boxes. Make predictions – which one will hold the most toys? Explain your thinking.
Now, fill the boxes with toys and find out whether your prediction was correct! Which box could hold the most toys? How many toys could they hold?
- Computing

I found two boxes. One was small and another one was bigger.
My prediction for the first small one was ten toys.
For the bigger one I think it can take 20.
When I filled the boxes with toys small one hold only 9 toys.
The bigger one took more toys with total number of 17.
