Friday 27th March 2020 – Grammar Task

Morning Year 4, Today children we will finish the week with a touch of grammar.

Read the passage below about the Charge of the Light Brigade and add in the correct conjunctions, using them only once. The conjunctions are:

When, before, after, while, so, because, therefore

The soldiers realised their mistake 1.__________ they had charged into battle. Not a single British soldier doubted their commander 2._________ he gave orders to attack the Russian enemy.     The obeying soldiers followed their orders 3. after lord cardigan / the commander stood back and watched the dramer happen .
