Writing
Imagine you are Howard Carter – you’ve just discovered the tomb and you’ve found the treasure. Write a report for Lord Carnarvon think about the following things. These could help you to form your paragraphs.
How you felt as you went down the stairs.
What you saw in the antechamber – use prepositions to describe where they are.
What was in the burial chamber?
How you felt when you finally saw Tutankhamun’s tomb.
Describe the treasure in the treasuring, including the black jackal statue of Anubis.
Bonus points for – vocabulary choice, extended punctuation, prepositions, relative/embedded clauses.
