Pre-school Home Learning Friday 5th March

Good morning everyone,

How are you today? We have a challenge for you today. Can you tell your grown up what the day of the week it is? If you are not sure why don’t you sing the song Days of the Week to help you. If you said Friday then you were right, well done!

Today is our last day of home learning! Thank you to all the parents for joining us daily on zoom and continuing to support your children at home with their development. We are so proud of all the children and cannot wait to see you all in real life next week!

Here is the link for our last daily zoom registration. It is at 11am and we look forward to seeing you.

Home Learning

Listening

The listening game today is all animals you would find at the zoo. Remember to turn on your listening ears, they will come in really handy for this game.

Maths

For maths today we are going to go on a shape hunt. Join Mrs Whitestone and see what shapes you can see outside. Then it is over to you. What shapes can you see around your house or garden? Can you find different shapes to the ones in the video?

Speech and Language

Today we have a little game for you to play. You are going to take an imaginary trip to the zoo and you are going to name all of the animals you see while you are there. You will start your sentence off by saying “I went to the zoo and I saw…”. Enjoy your trip!

Physical

Today’s physical activity is all about balancing. Watch Mrs Whitestone’s video and see if you can balance like her. Don’t worry if you find it a bit tricky, it is something we can always keep practicing!

Story Time

Time for the final story of the week. Here is Mrs Szabo reading What the ladybird heard on holiday!

And that is it Pre-School. Your home learning activities are all finished. Have a wonderful weekend and we will see you in Pre-School next week!

Usual sessions times will return.

Morning session 9am-12pm

Afternoon session 12pm-3pm

Have a fantastic weekend!
