Maths – Friday 26th February (Zoom at 2pm)

Today’s lesson is about calculating the perimeter of different shapes.

Don’t forget that perimeter means the length of the whole outside of a shape.

It can be calculated by adding ALL lengths of sides of the shape together.

Watch the video to find out about and practise how to find the perimeter of different shapes.

At different points in the video, have a go at answering the questions using what you have learned from the video.

(You also have pictures of the worksheet in case the link doesn’t allow you to see all questions).

      Hello Mia

Well done, you have answered these well.

The only one to check is 5b – don’t forget that there are two sides which are 4cm in length (even though 4cm is only written once!).

      Keep up the good work.
