KS2 Real PE at Home- Week 8
Now that you all have your personalised login for the Create Development Jasmine Active Home portal we can now start to set you fun challenges and games that you can try at home by yourself or with other family members. To access the portal you just need to follow this link (Jasmine Home Portal) and type in your personalised username and password.
This week we will be working on a new FUNS skill. This week’s FUNS skills will be Ball Chasing which is FUNS card 11. The games and activities this week are simple and easy to play so we hope to see the whole family getting involved with these games. All of the games/ activities can be adapted the games suit your own needs (space, participants & difficulty level). Similar to last week we have got a few demo videos to show you how the games and activities should look and give you some inspiration on how to adapt and adjust the games. As always we would love to see some pictures and videos of you playing the games or exploring the skills at home so we can share them with others, so please send any pictures or videos to pe@lingsprimary.org.uk.
Remember those of you who share you PE work at home and show great creativity, enthusiasm and commitment maybe awarded with the Real PE at Home Star of the Week Award.
Here is a video which will talk you through where you can find your PE Challenges for this week on the Jasmine Active Home Portal.
Below are the demo videos showing you how to play each of this weeks PE games with different variations for you to try.
As always please feel free to contact the PE team if you have any questions about the Jasmine Active Home portal on the PE email (pe@lingsprimary.org.uk).
Have fun, stay active and can’t wait to see you exploring Jasmine Active at Home.
Do we have to do it because I don’t have any of the resources even the teddy bear the only thing I have is a ball
Hi Kristers,
You can change and use any equipment you have for example for the grand prix you can use items of clothing to make your gates or you can use a roll up pair of socks as a ball. Make the games your own with what you have.
