      Thank you Alicja. Can you check your divisions please as your remainders are incorrect. Think how many 5s are there in 17? There are three 5s in 17 with 2 left over. Use this idea to have another go at these questions.

    there are 4 groups of 4
    there is 1 lolly stick remaining
    17 / 4 = 4 one remaining
    mo can make 4 squares

    there are 5 groups of 3
    there are two lolly sticks remaining
    17 / 3 = 5 remaining
    mo can make 5 triangles

    there are 3 groups of 5
    there are 2 lolly sticks remaining
    17 / 5 = 3 remaining
    mo can make 5 pentagons.

    Maths Challenge:

    19 x 3 = 57

    Teddy was wrong in his calculation.
    He should have removed 3 counters instead of just 1 to make the correct answer.
