Virtual School Games Sportshall Athletics District and County Champions
In Week 1 we got of to the best possible start to the Northamptonshire Sport Virtual School Games by winning both the KS1 and KS2 competitions. Last weeks the sport of choice was Sportshall Athletics. There has been a fantastic effort from pupils both in school and at home and was great to see some new children participating this week, so let’s keep seeing new children participating each week.
The results have just been announced by Northamptonshire Sport this morning and we are happy to say that we have been crown ‘District Virtual School Games Sportshall Athletics Champions’ and ‘County Virtual School Games Sporthall Athletics Champions’ for both KS1 and KS2 for Week 2.
We would like to say a massive well done to all of the children who participated last week and helped us maintain our outstanding record in the Northamptonshire Sport Virtual School Games. Remember that this weeks challenges were released Monday and the sport of choice for this week is Boccia. Let’s have another big push this week and try and get even more points for our school to stay on top. Please make sure you send your scores and videos to the PE Team (pe@lingsprimary.org.uk).
COME ON LINGS LET’S SET THE STANDARD and make it a three KS1 and KS2 titles in a row this week.
How do I get to join in on this
Hi Mason,
All you need to do is attempt the challenges at home (using any equipment you like). All challenges are posted on a Monday and there is a separate blog post that contains a video of how to set up each challenge. After you have attempted the challenges you can either post your scores in the comments of the blog post or send them to pe@lingsprimary.org.uk. Feel free to send videos or pictures of your attempts too.
