Home Learning

Listening

Would you like to play Mrs Webb’s game of silly soup? All you need for this is to watch the video and then you can try at home. We are finding items that start with the letter S. Mrs Webb will show you in the video what sound this letter makes. Have a go afterwards at finding objects around your home that start with the letter s. We look forward to seeing your photos and videos on Tapestry.

Maths

The big bad wolf has mixed all Mrs Crane’s loves up, can you help her sort them out. Afterwards you could have a go at making your own sorting activity.

Physical

The physical challenge today is one from Mrs Allen. She is playing the game ‘Floor is lava’. Watch the video to see what you need to do. It looks like lots of fun. We hope you enjoy it!

 

Speech and Language

Here is a picture from the story that Mrs O’Hagan read earlier on in the week. Please can you have a look at the picture and talk about what you can see. Use a full sentence, starting with “I can see…….”. If your child is struggling to say a sentence then please encourage your child to use at least one word to tell you what they can see.

Story Time

Today’s story is called My Pet Star. This is a lovely story about the importance of being kind and looking after people especially a family pet. Do you have any pets at home? Maybe you can take a photo and tell us all about your pet? Enjoy the story!
