    A preposition is a word to describe were you are.
    FOR EXAMPLE
    I was hiding the tree.
    That does not make sense because I am to small to hide the tree.
    But this will!
    I was hiding behind the tree.
    I added a preposition and it makes much more sense.
    The preposition was BEHIND.

    A preposition is a word that describes where they do it e.g behind,over and in front.
