      Remember division is just another word for sharing. If you’re dividing by 10 you’re sharing your whole equally between 10. If it helps, draw your whole as small counters, draw 10 baskets and share them equally between them. The amount of counters in each basket is your answer. Keep trying, practice will help you!

    1 hundred=10 tens
    1 hundred = 100 ones
    1 =100x1p
    1 = 10x10p

    40 divided by 10 = 4
    30 divided by 10 = 3
    60 divided by 10 =6
    80 divided by 10 = 8
    100 divided by 10 =10
    120 divided by 10 = 12

    1a. 100 tens.
    2. £1=100P
    3. 1/10 of 40=40 divided 10.
    4. 20 divided 10=2
    5. 60 divided 10 = 6
    6. 220 divided 10 = 22
    7. 350 divided 10 = 35
    8. 430 divided 10 = 43
