Preschools last week of term

Dear Parents/Carers,

WOW we have completed our first half term with your lovely children.

We have had a wonderful first half term getting to know your children and settling them into our routines and boundaries.

Firstly can I say a big thank you for all your support with leaving your child at the preschool gate.

A big thank you from Weston Favell food bank to parent who donated to our Harvest Festival.

Also thank you for donations of £1 for our mufti day all proceeds will be donated to Mencap.

This week we have continued learning about autumn and looking at Halloween. The children have had fun exploring, feeling and looking at pumpkins. They made potions and looked for spiders in the webs.

If you have made some pumpkin cravings for Halloween it would be lovely to see a picture which could be sent to us via email skylark@lingsprimary.org.uk or posting on tapestry.

We went on a wet autumn walk exploring the wet muddle puddles and the leaves in our school environment. We talked about what sounds we could hear and what we can see. Please could you bring in name wellies for your child as we will going outside in all weathers, including the rain.

Have a lovely break and we look forward to seeing you back on Tuesday 2nd November 2020.

The  Pre team.
