Transition plans for children starting Pre-School

Hello parents and carers

We busy back at school getting ready for your children to start with us.   In summary, you will have the opportunity to come into Pre-school, with your child, next Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th.  This is instead of the normal home visit. Your child will be able to access Pre-school whilst you speak to one of the teachers.

Week commencing 7th September we have planned a week of play and stay sessions so that the children can meet us in small groups and access all the environment in order to transition to Pre-school. We will book these for hourly slots and talk to you about how many you would like to attend.  Again, due to government guidance, parents and carers will not be allowed into Pre-school.  However, if your child is anxious or distressed and unable to access these sessions we will make arrangements for you to come in with them when no other children are in.

The children will start Pre-school week commencing the 14th September.
