Hello from Mrs Millard
Hi Year 6 – it’s Mrs Millard.
Sorry to invade your Year 6 blog but I wanted to ‘speak’ to you all before you officially leave Lings. I was hoping to come into school for your graduation, or to at least see you all in person before the end of term, but I am still not allowed, so this is the next best thing!
I did see your graduation photos which were amazing – you all looked soooo grown up! Miss Kinsella is sending me the video to watch too which I know will be emotional!
Your video on Youtube that you created with John Bowman was awesome with some fantastic lyrics and messages – well done.
I just wanted to say that I was so proud to be your teacher in Year 5 and I am even more proud of the wonderful people that you have become. You are a remarkable class who have conquered all of the difficulties that 2020 has thrown at us with a mature, responsible and sensible attitude – and with a constant smile on your faces! You have certainly made the very best of difficult circumstances and have managed to make many wonderful memories of your happy times spent at Lings. I know that you will all be awesome in your secondary schools. Don’t be strangers and come back to see us if you can – remember that you never really leave Lings.
I have really missed seeing your happy faces around school and am really gutted that I can’t give you a farewell hug!
Have a lovely holiday spending happy times with your loved ones – take care, keep smiling and be safe.
Lots of love,
Mrs Millard XXXXX
