Good Morning Year 1,

 

Here are today’s activities:

1. Sounds-Write Phonics

 

 

2. Reading/Writing

Listen to the next few pages of the story …

Write a character description of the giant.

Think about; what he looks like, how he speaks, where he lives and what sort of person he is.

Remember to write in full sentences using capital letters, spaces between words and full stops.

 

 

3. Maths

Today you are going to create your own board game! You can use the template below to help get you started if you would like – or you can have a go solo! Think about what “theme” you are going to use (e.g. Jack and the Beanstalk, space, cars, ect.) and what shortcuts you will include, e.g. snakes and ladders. Don’t forget to number your board game and make sure that all of your numbers are formed correctly!
