Year 4 – Lings Young Leaders Need You!

With our Year 6 Leaders preparing to move the their new schools we need some new Young Leaders for next year to join our existing Year 5 Leaders. As a Young Leader you will:

• Work through the Real Leaders Programme
• Be a role model to all children throughout the school
• Be a sports ambassador for Lings outside of school
• Be responsible for running activities at breaks and lunch
• Assist the running of Level 0 and Level 1 competition as well as virtual Level 2 competitions

If you are interested in becoming a Lings Young Leader, then you need to complete the ‘Young Leader Application Form.’ The application includes:

• Interview questions (x2)
• Task 1: Skills and Qualities of a Young Leader gingerbread man
• Task 2: Order the skills of a Young Leader
• Task 3: Plan a playground activity

When you have completed the form, you will need to email the form to the PE email address: pe@lingsprimary.org.uk Mrs Davies will then look over all the application forms and she will select the pupils who she feels show the potential to be a good Young Leader.
