Good morning Year 5 – I hope that you had a lovely weekend.

We are going to be looking at the theme of Festivals and Celebrations this week.

    Good morning Mrs Millard

    Here is my work.

    ICT:

    I would tell my friend that I do support her but she does not need to do it. I would also tell her parents or mine letting them know that I am concerned.

    SPELLINGS:

    It became apparent to me that Lydia is doing her spellings.

    I appreciate the job opportunity.

    I have attached my work for you.

    It appeared to be a lie.

    As the sun started to disappear.

    The opposite to mean is kind.

    It seemed to attract her eyes.

    I suppose the party is cancelled.

    The car in front in not stopping.

    1. It is celebrated on the 31st of October .
    2. Halloween came from the Celts.
    3. In Ireland they celebrated it by lighting candles for the dead people then they recite prayers.
    4. A spirit is a ghost of someone.
    5. The things we do on Halloween we dress up ,and we carve pumpkins and give sweets.
    6. Sixteen thousand people take part in the New York Halloween parade .
    7. The devil gave him a piece of coal.
    8. i would dress up as a burnt down version of statue of Liberty.
