We hope that you enjoyed your weekend! Before you get started with your activities today here is an online safety warm-up activity for you to have a go at:
Can you retell the story of Smartie the Penguin by making a cartoon story board?
Here are your first set of activities for the week:

What do you already know about the story of Jack and the Beanstalk?
On a sheet of paper, write and draw what you already know.
How does the story begin? How do most stories start? What story openers do you know?
Here are some story starters to get you thinking:
Can you think of anymore? Explore your favourite storybooks to gather some more interesting story starters!
- Maths
Roll a dice (if you have one*). Find two numbers with a difference of the number that you have rolled and mark them on the number line – using a counter or small object.
(Tip: select any number to start with then make the amount of jumps on the die).
* If you do not have a dice, you could write the numbers 1-6 on little pieces of paper and put them into a bag to pick them out of randomly.
