Hi Year 2

We hope you are well and excited for the day!

Here are today’s learning activities.

Read the following text and answer the comprehension questions.

English – Writing

This week you are going to be letter writing to your future self.

On a blank piece of paper draw, label and describe your time away from school.

-what has happened?

-why has it happened?

-where you are?

-what you have been doing?

-who you are with?

-how are you feeling?

-what you are looking forward to do and why?

The more detail you put on this now will help you when you are writing your letter later this week.

Sounds-Write Phonics (‘ed’ to a root word that ends with a y. Copy becomes copied so the ‘y’ becomes ‘i’ before the ending is added)
