Friday 15th May 2020 – Grammar Task.

Hello Year 4,

Our Grammar today focuses on verbs, adverbs and adverbial phrases. Remember an adverbial can tell you when, where, how, how often and why. If you are unsure about a verb or would like to refresh your memory then here is a link to a short clip explaining:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/topics/zrqqtfr/articles/zpxhdxs

See the example below to help explain and adverb.

Now see how you get on with these questions, they become more challenging so see how far you can get. You can add the question number and answers in the comment box on this blog or you can handwrite and email a photo to yearfour@lingsprimary.org.uk

Happy Friday Everyone! Have a great weekend

Mrs Denny, Mrs Baldry and Miss Bishop.
