Wednesday 6th May – Year 2 Home Learning Tasks

Hi Year 2

We are in the middle of the week. Let’s carry on with the fantastic work you are doing.

Here are today’s learning activities.

Sing along by listening and reading the lyrics on the screen.

Answer the following comprehension questions.

  1. What is on the roses?
  2. What does the dog do?
  3. Can you think of a different word to sad?
  4. What do you infer is in the ‘brown paper packages tied up with string’ and why?
  5. Why do you think the ‘silver white winters melt into spring’?

English –  Writing

We want you to stay positive and to see the happiness all around you, even if it’s hard to see at the moment.

Draw and write sentences about, at least four, of your favourite things and things that make you happy.

Remember to use conjunctions when telling me why they are your favourite things.

Can you use any adjectives to describe them?
