Reception Home Learning Friday 3rd April

Hello children and parents – well done, we have made it through another week! We have been SO impressed with the photos and videos of your work that you have been sending in to us. We are missing you all lots and being able to see what you have been doing really cheers us up. So thank you for sharing and staying in touch!

Next week we wont be setting any work but we will have a list of activities that you might like to do to keep yourselves busy! Enjoy the holdiay and a well earned rest 🙂

Maths
I have made some repeating patterns with things I have found at home, can you tell what comes next?

Can you make your own repeating pattern? You could use things you find at home, you could draw it, it could be a physical pattern – clap, clap, jump…

Literacy

Watch and enjoy one of the stories recorded by Mrs Tucker or Mrs O’Hagan, or if you want to choose a different story, CBeebies Bedtime story has lots to choose from here:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episodes/b00jdlm2/cbeebies-bedtime-stories.

Talk about the story with your grown up. What did you like about it? Who was your favourite character?

Well being

Children, Jigsaw Genie has sent me a message!

He knows how hard you have all been working and he is very impressed! but he has been wondering if you and all the adults from school and all the adults at home have been having any quite time at home. He says it could be good for us to do some of the things we do on a Friday at school.
He sent me a chime sound:

So if you would like you can sit with your legs crossed and listen to the chime until you can’t hear it anymore. Remember to close your eyes, take a deep breath in through your nose, out through your mouth, blowing out your rainbow breath. You can think about anything that makes you feel happy. You can put your hands on your tummy and feel your breath coming in and out of your body. Do this as many times as you would like. How do you feel afterwards?
