Day 2 of Science Week

What another incredible and exciting day!

In Year 2, we spent the morning reading and writing about the invention and history of the telephone and in the afternoon we had a go at making our own telephones using cups and string and found out how sound travelled along from one to another.

We also had a go at making our ice cream using strawberry or chocolate milkshake, ice and salt! It was really good fun and we cannot wait to taste it tomorrow.

Across school, many of our children started their designs and exploration of the recycled clothing task ready to bring home ideas to share with their parents. There were lots of smiles and lots of giggling to be heard as the children dressed themselves in their new creations.

We cannot wait to have another wonderful day tomorrow!
