    1. i went to bed very late and i am tired.
    2. i listened to the whether for cast so i put a umbrella in my bag
    3. i enjoy playing hockey but it is not my favourite sport

    1. I went to bed very late so I am tired today.
    2. I listened to the weather forecast so put an umbrella in my bag.
    3. I enjoy playing hockey but it’s not my favourite sport.
    4. We could go to the park or to the cinema.

    Although/Because/ So that/ Even if/ Whenever
    1. My dad has fixed my bike so that I can take it to the park.
    2. My brother is grumpy because he has got to do his homework.
    3. I will always support my local team, although they always lose!
    4. He goes abroad on holiday, even if he doesn’t like flying.

    Whether or/Either or/ both and /Not only but
    1. I’m not sure whether I’m going to the match or not.
    2. My mum is not only a brilliant doctor, but she is a great runner too.
    3. The weather is forecast to be either hot or humid.
    4. We are having both pasta and curry for dinner.
