Preschool Fireworks
Dear Parents/Carers,
All the children have come back and settled well into our routines and procedures.
We have had great fun looking at fireworks this week and the children have created lots of different fireworks in a variety of ways. We also described what the fireworks sound like and look like by talking in full sentences.
Can your child describe what they can see in the picture?
What can they see?
What do think you might hear?
We also talked about Remembrance Day (which is Sunday). They looked at a short clip and talked about what was happening. The link is https://www.bbc.co.uk/cbeebies/watch/poppies .
The children also created a beautiful display by creating bottle top poppies.
We are continuing going out in all weathers, for the children to be able to achieve physical activities and use their senses for smells, hearing and touch.
Don’t forget farm visit on Monday, please remember wellington boots and a warm coat.
Have a lovely weekend.

“I can see fireworks. There’s orange and pink and blue and purple”. When asked what he might hear, Harrison said “bang, cracker cracker, peeew”.
Harrison, what a good description of fireworks – I love the sound peeew!
Zara thinks she might hear a bang and pop sound
Zara sees a different color fireworks
Well done Zara – I think you are right!
