Not long to go before the summer holidays. Keep it up!
Here are today’s activities…

Some of them are excited and some of them are nervous.
What would you tell them about Year 2?
What are the features you need to remember when writing a letter?
Sounds-Write Phonics – Focus sound /ee/ spelling <i>
Review – read the following common exception words: for, as, move, door, sugar
Read: skier, piste, icy, spicy, island
Write: Ivy, iris, isle, ideal
Dictation: The ideal island would have spicy food and icy sloops for skiers.

Art
Today we are going to explore ‘Pointillism’.
Look at the examples before.
Instead of colouring in, the artists have used different sized dots.
Draw/sketch anything you like and use dots to add colour.
Story
This is one of the new books in my collection.
I hope you like it.
Remember to leave us a comment on the blog to share your learning or you can email it to us at yeartwo@lingsprimary.org.uk.
As teachers are back in school teaching we won’t be able to always answer comments on the blogs or reply to emails about your fantastic learning on the same day. Even though we might not respond right away please know we are seeing your work and are very proud of you so please still show us.
We look forward to seeing your work!
