Year 3 – Tuesday 9th June 2020

Good morning everyone.

Thank you again for joining in with and completing the daily tasks on the blog.

    MATHS CHALLENGE

    Reading:
    1) A dairy entry starts with ‘dear diary’
    2) It is written in the past tense
    3) They’d have felt how they did when the event was going on
    4) With Paragraphs

    Activity 2:
    1) The story started as the woman trying to grow a pumpkin, And then her husband came to help and so did other people. Then at the end they managed the get the pumpkin inside and eat it.

    Maths:

    MATHS CHALLENGE :
    6 X 4 = 3 X 8 ( both will give 24 as a result)

    GEOGRAPHY:
    At home we reuse :
    – plastic pots for planting seedlings.
    – glass jars for collecting things, like shells or as pencil/ crayons/ paintbrushes holder.
    – shopping bags made out of recyclable materials
    – some of our clothes are partially made from recycled materials ( example: school uniform trousers / skirts )

    At home we recycle:
    Plastics, glass, paper, cardboard

    MUSIC:
    1) What instruments can you hear?
    I can hear drums, trumpets, bass guitar, clicking fingers playing.

    2) What two words would you use to describe the song?
    I would describe this song joyful and happy.

    3) What is the tempo (speed) like?
    The tempo is fast and up beat and it’s nice to dance.

    4) What is the genre of this piece?
    The genre of this piece is pop.

    5) Do you like this piece? Why? Why not?
    I like this piece because I like to dance to it and listen to it and it makes me feel happy.
